Review: Allway Sync Go is a simple-to-use program that facilitates file synchronization between two locations, such as local drives, FTP server, WebDAV, and archives (encrypted or unprotected). The tool comes in installer and portable edition. The latter option allows you to drop the program files anywhere on the hard disk and run the executable directly. It is also possible to move Allway Sync Go to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any workstation with minimum effort. Whats more, the Windows registry does not get new entries, and leftover files are not kept by the HDD after removing the utility. The interface is made from a plain window with a simple layout, where you can create as many jobs as you want by establishing the source and output locations, and by analyzing the files before processing them. It is possible to pick the sync direction, open synchronization root folders, as well as view only new or unchanged files, or the ones overwritten by the user. You can export the job, profile or application settings to file, use a search function with filters for files (status, attributes, modification time, size), clone or rename jobs, as well as add extra synchronization folders. Allway Sync Go supports multiple GUI themes and languages, and it is able to record log activity to file. It also allows you to define custom actions (before and after synchronization, on error), create inclusion or exclusion lists for sync jobs, schedule tasks, and more.
