Review: Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper is an application that you can use to extract audio from a DVD. The interface of the tool is clean and intuitive. You can open a DVD, ISO or IFO file by using either the file browser or drag and drop method. In the list you can check out the name, duration, number of chapters, output profile and size, as well as status for each DVD. All you have to do in order to initiate the conversion process is to specify the output location and format (e.g. MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV). But you can also configure audio settings when it comes to codec, sample frequency rate, bit rate, channels, encode mode, VBR quality and others. In addition, you can edit metadata (e.g. title, author, copyright, comment), preview the DVD and take snapshots, set the CPU priority, as well as select the audio stream.
