Review: UnFreeze is a straightforward piece of software that helps users hide hung windows using a key combination, in order to resume normal activity on the computer. It is very simple to handle, even if your experience with such tools is limited. The interface is represented by a small window with a plain and simple layout, where you can modify the default hotkey for terminating windows, as well as establish one for powering off the computer immediately. Aside from updating the hotkeys, you can restore them to their factory values. They cannot be set on a global level, so you are free to send UnFreeze to the system tray area while carrying on with normal activity on the computer. The simple application does not include additional options. It has a good response time when it comes to executing a command after triggering it, while remaining light on the system resources - low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since the program did not hang, crash or show error messages. All in all, UnFreeze delivers an effective solution to deactivating hung windows.
